I just finished removing my Rear Upper Control Arms, How do I determine if the Ball Joint is bad?? The Bushings were good, no rips or tears but I am replacing them with the Daizen Kit....

The reason I ask is due to some clunking noise after lowering the SC, on the driver rear side.....


BTW, Now I know why people want to charge 200+ for the bushing installation, sheesh, what trouble to get those arms off....

I'm guessing a lot of you go to shops to get this done??

there should be a post somewhere about how to check balljoints, its a lengthy and very good post. search "ball joint" or "balljoint" as it was posted within the last two months. i, myself, will be buying new since you cant buy the ball joints and press them into the old arms.

both my front uca balljoints have torns and leaks but it still drives good...just to broke to even try to buy new uca or lca...
