I think every install might be different. The problem I ran into was the Blow Off Value was stuck. The other problem is just the advanced management ECU likes to fix issues that aren't issues and it goes into Limp-mode.

Once I pulled the O2's out, it was fine. You'll get a CEL until you get it tuned. I'm going to put an AEM FIC in there.

The plug model is:

NGK Bkr7es-11

Not sure what they need to be gapped to though. Mark or todd may know.

Default Aem Fic Sc300

So Last night thanks to Mark K. and Todd, We installed the AEM FIC!!!! It's still not tuned, but the car is running beautiful.

Thank God i met Todd and Mark, they REALLY knew what they were doing. From soup to nuts, they had a plan, strategy and near perfect implementation. There's no way I could have done this by myself.

The only advice for installing an AEM FIC that i'd give is just double and triple check your work.

I installed the airfilter last night. It's slowly coming together.

The next step is tuning.

you can either resize, or link the images in the OP. no tags on things that big.

Was great meeting you bro!!!! Glad all is working well now. Once Todd does the tuning and I come to assist with the wiring the ride will be bad azz!!!

I'll tell you, that turbo and BOV sounded downright mean at 1 AM !!!

What kit did you end up going with?

Where did you get the tube with the MAF flange?

Miles on your car?

Why didn't you swap the Head gasket?

Looks like a great set up, I plan on doing this but with a custom driver side intake manifold!

Chris, I got the kit from clubna-t.com (XSPOWER) T61 turbo. I have about 65K miles. Eventually I may change the head gasket. We're doing everything really slow. The MAF flange? I used to have a GS300 and I bought an air intake from ebay for like $50. I never put it on and it came in handy for this install.

Tuning will be done soon. I'm getting the 550cc injectors soon. Then have to re do the fuel. Thats gonna be some work.

How did you hook up the cam and crank wires on the fic? According to my wiring diagrams they share the same ground. According to the fic instructions, you have to intercept both the ground and positive side. I linked all the cam neg outs and crank outs together on that one common pin and the car wont start. Do you have to tie the inputs on the gnd side together also? What it ***** to install wtf.

Well Todd and Mark did the wiring. We used the electircal diagrams from ALLDATA.

Let me know if you want them. I can post them here to. It will help a lot. It'll tell you about the cam and crank wires.

I remember we made a splice on a wire after a loop. It was supposed to be before the loop.

The key is to DOUBLE and TRIPLE check your work.

The car didn't start for me too.

We had to re do 3 wires and then it started right up.

Total time ~6-7 Hours .

Im using alldata also. got it going in about 3 hrs. I had a crank wire backwards. It is still not running right, I think I have to work out some bugs with the base tune. My rpm gauge on the fic is reading really high also. Dont know wtf.

It is a must to check check and double check when wiring this thing in. Wish they would make a pnp harness for our application.
