Default SC400 Over Heating

Well it all started when I had my car idleing while i was getting some from a young lady lol. Well I look at the temp gauge and its to the top so I turn off the car and c smoke coming from the hood. I pop the hood and took of the radiator cap, well all that did was make all the fluid boil out and spill. After that was done I filled the car up with some cool water and made it home. Next day i did a full flush on the radiator and its still runing hot its like I fell it up and its drinking it like soda. I mean while its full it will run ok but after a few drives the level is very very low. Not sure what it is. I know its not a headgasket because theres no bubbles on my oil. Just need 2 know were the thermostat is on the SC400 so I can take a look at it. And if all else fails It might b the water pump help me out guys and yes ive searched and all posts just give suggestions that ive pretty much looked at already. Thanks

The thermostat is at the top part of the engine. It is in the housing in the front that secured with two bolts. There is a hose coming off of the radiator that connects directly to it. Make sure you get a Toyota thermostat....others didn't work for me...
