Default Soarer R-154 short throw shifter..

Im throwing in the towel, the stock shifter on my R-154(soarer) has long throws and I really don't like it.. I searched and haven't found a thread on this so why not start one.. Anyways what brands are out there? where can I get one? and what are the going prices? or maybe someone knows how to mod one.. by the way its the early version r-154(not the a frame)

thanks in advance guys

the throws are not long by any means compared to many other cars just learn to shift better

but if your dead set C's make one for the r154 but they are expensive

I'll admit my shifting on this car is not quite there yet.. but experience on other cars when I have been cramming those gears on a long throw, I've broken shifters and missed gears and we all know how dumb some one looks when they miss a gear at the track.. lol its not to bad but I've grown accustom to short throws. thanks.

Send an email to Fuzzy at OOParts in Japan: <fuzzy.oda@ooparts-international.co.jp>

He handles their US product inquiries. Ask for a quote on a short shifter for the early version JZZ30 Soarer. He should be able to get you an official quote within 24 hours.

I ordered this exact part from Fuzzy. The payment was made Monday and it arrived on Saturday. I paid $270 after shipping.

I have been extremely satisfied with the service that Fuzzy has offered me on other random parts requests. He really does a good job, and the price he can offer for getting the JDM parts direct can't be beat.
