LS1 into a SC300/400
Ha yes the S13 is my "race" car, or aka drift car. Its a rusty pile of crapola and just isnt what I want anymore, so that means I will treat it like my little bish and beat her down. I would do the swap now, but the S13 is done and I dont really have a garage right now to do the swap.
Trust me I want to sooo bad, I have all the stuff need to do it, just no time. All I would have to do is make a mount set up,mod my headers I have now, or make new ones, call DS shop and get a DS made, exhaust and some fuel lines, and some other misc stuff that you would expect to run into.
I run my engine off a Autorod touch 8 switch pannel and relay/fuse set up, with a remote disconnect. Technically I wouldnt even have to splice into the Lexus harness at all. As I will be using all my Autometer guages as well, just would make a cutom pannel for them to fit in place of the stock guages.
Only thing I was thinking about was, if I ran the engine all independent from the chassis harness, how would I go about making sure the chassis harness has power for the windows, lights etc.? Not a big deal, just a concern. I just need a wiring diagram of the SC400, if you have any cough cough cough ha..
Dont mind the rear wheels, I still need to put some spacers on.
But shes a little dirty bish ha.

Our SC has engine and trans mounted, have to SolidWorks the trans mount, have those machined, and make the rear crossmember modifications (rear lower control arm brace) to clear the oil pan. Probably ~3 weeks. I'll be starting a build thread soon.

Thanks guys. It was a real fun build, and a lot easier that you might think....BUT
Here is a few pictures of the SC as of yesterday. With the crank pulley within 6 inches of the centerline of the front wheels, and an engine 140 pounds lighter than the Iron 6, I think the SC will be a whole lot of fun. Yes we're using an LQ4 (Iron block) because we know this car will end up under some boosted stess.
