You can get a nice pioneer double din navi unit under 500. I'll show you mine at the BBQ.

Thanks everyone!!! I've only had the car for a few months and I'm loving it. Engine is stock but I changed all the fluids, spark plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, fuel filter and tranny mount.

This forum has helped me out so much so far. All of the above were accomplished from searching here. I don't really have to ask for much. I just search and I find everything I need.

Maybe later on I'll go NA-T or 2JZGTE but I'm concentrating on my 240sx for performance and this is my daily.

Yes it did. Thanks.

The unit is a Dual XDVD8265. I didn't get an install kit but it comes with a frame that you will have to trim to fit. My cousin installed it for me at a circuit city. So he made a half din plate to fill in the gap because stock is 2.5 din and the unit is double din.

It's a less expensive brand name but it works great and people have been telling me it shows better than the pioneer. I've only heard good things. My CD changer stopped working and I couldn't just put a regular single din CD head unit.

I didn't get a dash kit. My cousin works at circuit city so they do custom jobs all the time where they have to fill in gaps. They carry plastic sheets. So they just measure, cut, and trim to fit. I'm sure any install shops should carry it.

Did you need a Dash Kit and Wiring Harness for your aftermarket head unit?
