Tonight I ran/extended all of the wiring for my AEM wideband, getting the wires through the firewall were easier than I thought, but extending them all the way over to the steering column from the passenger side above the ECU was a bit of a pain.
I also took the center console back out to actually bolt in the metal pieces that hold up the climate control (they were just laying in there when I got the car) to eliminate the awesome Pizza Street cup. I then took a CD player holder and put my SAFC in it.
I don't have a gauge cup yet so the gauge is just sitting there, but that's where it'll end up mounted.
For anybody who's wondering about the durability of that paint, on the steering column at least it really did soak into it as a dye. I put my gauge cup on my steering column tonight and everytime I slipped off a screw and hit the paint with the screwdriver...nothing happened.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm digging the custom cup holder where the radio used to be.
i think the cup holds up the ac climate control, and those ***** are always a problem. since you started making these parts black, you know what you gotta do now. make the rest blakc too !!
