Default Caliper Paint Removal

Well without thinking I painted my calipers while they where still on. So now this paint is on my rotor where the pads don't touch. What do you guys suggest I use to remove it, without any damage to the rotor itself?

Doesn't the zinc plating prevent rust? I also have driven it a little, so the paint that is on the rotor that the pads actually touch is gone, its perfectly clean. But its the other parts of the rotor that still have paint on them. I think I'll try the brake cleaner.

Brake clean will take off the paint. I found out when I was cleaning and changing my pads.
