Default Rough when reving, but smooth when driving?

I'm new to the forums and I've been looking for a 95 5-speed SC. Mileage aside, I've come across two identical cars. One has 100k miles while the other has 160k. At idle and while driving, both cars are smooth, but if you give it a little gas in neutral (~2500-3000) , there's a noticeable vibration. At first I thought it was just a random misfire, but the second car did the same thing. I'm 99% certain this this isn't "normal" for these cars, but I may be mistaken.

Thanks,
Lamar

mine does that too... I've written it off as bad motor mounts, but I'm going to be doing a 1jz swap this winter, so I've just ignored it recently... I don't free rev the car anyways...

I figured it might be something as minor as mounts, but with the price they're asking I need all the leverage I can get.

The car will be swapped down the road anyways.
