Hi to all I am a new member here in need of help . I just bought my sc400 about three weeks ago and i had a power steering leak i fixed that and now i have to change the pressure power steering hose, but anyway about three days ago i was driving and i hit this hard *** bump when i went to mash down on the gas there was no power i looked at the dash and the car cut out because i seen the dash lights were on so i pulled over and tried to start the car it wont start but it will crank so i had a mechanic look at it and he looked under the car and he seen that the crank sensor had broke so he said let him see if the car is still getting spark which it was and he checked to see if im getting fuel and i am so we went ahead a changed the crank sensor anyway cause it was pretty beat up and still no start so now im puzzled because i dont know what the problem is can anyone help me out with this problem please i mean i just bought my car and i didnt even get to enjoy it yet thank you.

 

that sucks man... i bought mine 2 weeks and trac and engine lights turned on so i know how u feel man, so u had a power sterring leak... maybe it could be the alternator.... sorry about ur car man

Well i was thinking the fuel pump because the car cranks it just wont start or is that signs of a bad alternator also .
