Default New 4Runner Brakes= HUGE with 4 piston calipers up front---

Does anyone know if they might bolt up to an SC or an LS by any chance??

They look to be nearly 14" rotors with HUGE 4 piston calipers--

This was on a 2006 4Runner with just a V6-- so the V8 should have the same big brakes too--

Even if they did fit, bigger isn't always better. It'll probably add a bunch of unsprung mass that you don't really need. Stick with proven solutions that reduce weight and have a lot of options when it comes to rotors and pads.

The calipers appear to be aluminum like the supra calipers-- not sure but maybe they wouldn't add much --

I'm positive it would add stopping power though-- I'm just intrigued by the quality Toyota puts into their vehicles and thought it would be cool if there was any way to adapt these massive brakes to an SC that needs a little extra stopping power--

I guess the Supra TT brakes are the way to go though- or the LS400 brakes--
