Default What is this?

Sorry for lack of pictures (at work) but I was rummaging through my trunk and on the driver's side, right below the antennae is a disconnected wire with a metal plug that has threads on it. Almost looks like a home cable plug. I found it disconnected, just laying there. Is it for the phone or what? It runs up to the top left side of the trunk and into the car.

Yeh 99% chance its the phone was taken out> But if so they overhauled and removed the entire unit. I just pulled the phone out of the center console.

I just put my 99 SC4 back together after a stereo upgrade, and I found *two* wires with plugs near the radio antenna. One was gray, and one was black. Both appear to be part of the factory harness. The black one runs into the cabin and its other end is coiled up under the left bottom cushion of the rear seat. I don't think the later models were offered with a hardwired cellphone, were they? If they were, that would explain one of the two wires. But how about the other one?
