Thanks, would you think 40's profile would be too much? I'm thinking 30s are too low profile, I want a lil more ride comfort

maybe 265/35R 225/40F ?

Hi,

I'm new to the SC game. Just got a SC400 and I have a set of 18x10's to through on the back from my Z. My question is will a 225/50 tire work? Thanks for the help.

Need help with the new set up please , just got the mesh wheel by weds 18x9.5 +47 an 1.5 lip size. then changed the lip to 3.5" so now is 18x11.5 +47 ( same offset since I changed only the lip not the inner barrel )
1. Will it fit on rear of SC 400 with stock camber ? Got the TEIN coilover n fender are rolled
2. 265/35/18 will this size be okay with those lip size?
Thank you in advance

^ you did change the offset by putting a different outer barrel on the wheel. Yes the wheel wont move closer or further away from the body it self but offset is where the actual face in reference to the center of the barrel. So your face before was 47mm front the center towards the outside of the car now your face will be sunk 3" towards the inside of the car. So to answer your question no 11.5 -3 will not fit a stock body Sc not even close your rim will stick out about an inch past the qtr panel.

This is the crazy part, I want 19"x10.5"+15 in the rear with the 18"s up front. This will give it a better rake look and fill up the rear wheel well.

What does everyone think? I've seen it done before on RX7's, which have smaller wheels up front and larger diameter wheels in the rear. Will the 18"x10.5" +15 with 25mm Origin fenders fit ok, clear BBK's, etc?
first of sc already has a rake if lowered evenly, look at the body line and where the wheel well cut out in the back compared to the front.i'm 100% against different size wheels but its your choice obviously.Making the car fit the wheels is easy making the wheels fit the car is the hard part.

I have never been a fan of the 18/19 set up on an SC. From the side profile the fronts will look small and then you have to pretty much tuck rim in the rear to match the front height. It looks awkward to me, but its up to you lol..

Have some XXR 521's in 18x10, what tire should I run in the back that won't require me to mod the fenders? Car isn't lowered yet.

I want to run 18x9.5 in the front and 18x10 in the back. I'm wanting more of a battle stance, where the wheels poke out just a tad and fits nice in the fender (witha roll obviously) what offset would I need?

So in order to make it fit , I ll need to pull the fender n do negative camber a little ? Thank you for the info MDSC

Question

Greetings,
I have a set of WORK VS-ZF. Sizes are:
255/35/ZR18 8.5 (?)
285/35/ZR18 9.5 (+45)

I am currently stock (but drooping in rear) height. I have not rubbed at all yet.

I am going to re-lip the Works over the winter, but I will run spacers until then.

I just ordered 38mm bolt on, hub-centric spacers.

I will add coilovers for a moderate, tasteful drop in one month or less.

These pictures are how it sits now, before spacers and drop.
What should I expect when I put the spacers on? I am prepared for roll/shave whatever is best.

How should I expect the fit to be? Stock and dropped.

Thanks in advance !!!

The widest I'd probably go is 245/40/18s for the fronts and 275/35/18 for the rears

You will have 38mm more poke! Take a ruler to your wheel to help you visualize that's what I did when I did my calculations for relipping just before I ordered my lips
