I hate to say it, but after seeing the new CCW XXR clones, I think I'm going to pull the trigger. Problem is, I've googled various offsets to see which of their options would be better to no avail. I had a GS400 before my SC and I think I had fitment down. My goal is flush, tucked, rolled and a bit of camber to make it happen. Problem is, XXR limits me to 19x10 +15 or +35 as well as 19x11 +15 which would not fit easily. They have an 8.5 +15 possible as a front wheel but I'd much rather run at least 10" front and back. This was my GS. 19x8.5 +15 and 19x10 +20 235 rears and 215 fronts

Tiess size on GS 300
Dam, just what i needed. just one other thing tho, can you try to put a lttlel more info on 20 inch applications like tire sizes an modifactions that need to be made. An just for infomative reasons, i have upgraded my wheels to 19x9.5 all around an have 275/30/19 all around as well i only had to roll the left rear fender the rest where left with no modifactions. the car runs smoothe. an looks great.
I have recently put on four x 275x 40x 18 on my lexus GS 300, it runs great for now, but I was wondering if the 275 was too wide for the front, before I had 245 x4 tires.
The plus is that I can rotate the tires,
Will the tires wear quicker on the front, that is the 275??

Okay...
Read this thread up and down and been on a lot of tire/wheel sites and am trying to vet options (which are too many but it does make this process interesting) and wanted to get advice on one option that will likely lead to others....
The car is a stock SC300 with the original factory alloy wheels. Right now it has 225/60/R15 tires. (current pic below)
Would like to avoid any fender pulls and early on would not be able to lower the car just yet (replacement struts are not yet on the list for upgrades).
I was considering 18 inch options and maybe even 17 but once I saw the Vossen line of wheels it appears they "start" at 19s.
Would the Vossen 19x8.5 VVS-084s with 32mm offset fit in the existing wheel wells and be safe and driveable? Tire options are several but looking at 235/40/19 - mfg yet TBD.
If I am being "unrealistic" by attempting to make such a radical jump without a lot of other mods please feel free to advise (kindly, if you please).
Thanks......

Thanks.... One of the sites' configuators predicts that combo would not fit the vehicle... I have a few other choices to research as well....
There are a lot more choices in the 18 or 20 sizes. 20 seems to be a bit much and such a radical change.
Another set of choices are the Lorenzo WL19 at 18 with 45mm; tire options are 225, 235 or 245 with the best being 245/40/R18 but I am not certain the 245s would fit the front.

Just ordered my wheels.
I got 18x9 +25 front and 18x10.5 +20 rear.
Going to roll fenders flat.. how much will I need to pull the rear to fit? and whats a good tire size to run in the rear? 240 or 245?

I have a opportunity to get some very high end rims for my 92 SC 300 for a good price. They are 19' and I don't know the width I do know the offset is around + 25 , the tires are
235 35 19 91w. I would want to run those in front n 265 or 275 in rear. My car is lowered slightly n rear fenders are rolled Thanks. Tom

My setup now is above with the 20's and I've never did any mods to my car and I never had any rubbing issues.
The biggest thing to look for is the offset vs. the width of the wheel.
I have a 8.5 wide and a +38 offset and its as flush as you can get without mods.
