****Official Wheel & Tire Fitment Guide for SC300/SC400****

CL Member Name: Gate
Rim Brand and Type: Azev, Old Type B
Rim Size f/r: 18/18
Rim Offset f/r: ?
Tire Size f/r: 235/40zr18 93y, 245/45zr18 100y
Suspension Setup: Stock.
Comment On Ride: Needs work.
Fender Modifications: None.
Any other comments: Gotta go real easy on my baby, want to keep her forever but she's delicate and needs new struts soon. I love these wheels but the front left one needs to be straightened and welded soon.
Picture:
p.s. You can see my late-future-step-father-in-law's (girlfriend's deceased stepfather's) 1960 Plymouth Valiant in the left foreground, it's pretty sick but doesn't have an engine. Hasn't been driven in years, I like to hose it down when I wash my SC400.

I am new to this forum and need some help with wheel offsets for my 98 sc400. I want to run 18x9 245/40/18 in the front and 18x10 275/35/18 in the back, but I do not want to modify the fenders. I am looking at RPF1's and the offsets are +35 for the front and +38 for the back. I'm pretty sure the back offset is ok, but I don't know about the front. Anyone know if +35 will clear the front fender?
Thanks for any info

i am new to club lexus (and vehicle modification for that matter.)
i am seeking advice on what to do about a set of wheels i'm looking to put on my 99' sc300.
the fronts: 245/35/20
the rear: 275/35/20
-i have no idea what the offsets are-
If I run stock suspension (no body kit), will i have problems turning?

@FutureSC:
just got some tape and measured
fronts: around 9.5 inches wide
rear: around 11.5 wide
I just had Discount Tire test fit my wheels. They couldnt tell me what the offset was. they told me i would have to remove a bunch of stuff in my wheel well to get a good turn.
this puzzles me because i see owners here with the same supension and body as mine riding comfortably on 20s

JDunlap, also, don't forget to measure the width of your wheel from where one side of the tire seats to the other, not from lip to lip. Thanks mitsuguy for all the math and examples, my brain is too tired right now for that haha.
Anyway I run a 9.5" wide wheel up front with an offset of +15. I had to roll my fenders and I'm also running a 215 series tire (35mm less in width than the tires you want to put on). It really depends on your offset as to what you can do when you turn and if your tire will rub up on the fender.
Another thing, 11.5" in the rear is pretty extreme regardless of offset so you might run into problems back there too.
You're also going to want to run a 30 series tire up front and possibly even a 25 series in the rear rather than 35's like you mentioned if you want to stay at around the stock total wheel/tire diameter.
My advice would be to jack up the car yourself and test fit the wheel just to get an idea as to what you're looking at. Hope any of that helps.
