Would 19x9 front and 19x10 inch rims be a bad idea for daily driving in an area with bad roads (bumps, lots of steep hills, pot holes, speed bumps, etc)

What would be the best recommendation? whats the biggest size rim I should go with? I dont want too much space between wheel and fender - like some of the stances posted on page one of this thread.

Could someone please explain to me the attraction of stretched tires? Do they provide some sort of performance advantage or something? IMO they look absolutely ridiculous, dont provide and wheel/rim protection, and could potentially be dangerous. I'm just curious, not trying to flame or anything just trying to gain some knowledge.

so people can go lower and still be able to turn the wheels and have the tire clear the fender....performance wise heck no....purely for style in my understanding...

There is a lot of speculation on where tire streching originated. Most people say it started in Europe where strict TUV laws limited the amount tire that was allowed to sit past the fender wall. So people wanting to put wider wheels on there cars started streching there tires adn fitting wider wheels. Eventually it made it's way to japan where the Yakuza and such took it on and made it there own.

How would I be with this setup? I have a fender roller but would I need to pull? I have no clue where to start with tire sizes either.

Front: 19×9.5 +22
Rear: 19×10.5 +22

roll/shave will be necessary, but a pull won't. Run 225/35 or something in that ballpark. also depends how low you are and how much camber you're planning to run

^ i test fitted a 9.5 +0 and a 10.5 +0. I poked out quite a bit. But since yours is a +22 you should be okay. Roll flat + slight pull. 225/35/19 front and 245/35/19 rear

With those tire sizes, all he needs should be a flat roll.

19x8.5 +32
19x9.5 +35

Looking at these offsets because they're not aggressive enough that I'd have to stretch the tires. I'm looking for the tires to be as flush to the fenders as possible. What tire sizes should I go with? Thanks for any advice.

Anyone see the new Sportmaxes? The 521 looks half way decent. Thinkin about doing 18x10 +25 on the offset I think, thinking about all around? Anybody do this yet?
