They say it would fit our cars, but I have a hunch it would stick out a bit. Your take?
rears would fit with rolled fenders and a stretched tire with stockish camber, they'd stick out decently, but run some camber and they'd look good...

the fronts are a little low offset they'll fit, but stick out too much in comparison to the rears... a 30mm offset would be better...

So I am looking into some less expensive wheels and I found the falken hanabi. they come in a 17x9 with a +20 offset. They are less than 200 bucks each. I was hoping maybe someone has seen an sc with these wheels or could find a pic, I was also wondering what size tires I would need to run for these to work. or is the offset to low? I know these sizes have probably been previously addressed and for that, i am sorry.

They'll work if you run stretched tires and roll the fenders, and they will stick out a tad... 245/45-17 probably what I'd run...

just a personal opinion, and unless you are wanting the stretched tire, wheel sticks out too far look, you would be better off going staggered 8.5" front, 9.5" rear with 35-40mm offsets... these will fit with wider tires (still roll rear fenders) and IMO, look 100x better

Oh boy..... 17x9 with a 20 offset wont "stick out a tad" it will be near flush and would require a good roll to get a good size tire. 245/45/17 wont be a stretch on a 9 inch wide wheel but then again you wont need stretch tires to make this fitment to work in the rear or front. I have 19x10 21 offset out front so being that yours will be 12.8 mm less toward the fender a light roll is needed. If you are not going staggered(which I reccomend because you will notice the rear is going to be more sunken than the front when using non-staggered wheels.) Dont listen to the fearful just do some research using others fitment and photos and you will be fine.

ok, if 9" +20 is near flush, then how come 9.5" +35 is flush on the rear?

Wheel design, some wheels naturally look different with a different offset because they mount with different clearance.

that 9.5 is not flush, it only appears to be because of that giant tire and wheel gap

it is actually 9mm closer inside than a 9 +20

I wouldn't want to quote tire sizes without knowing what wide body kit you plan on running...

What wide body kits are out there and if you have any brands, websites, or prices it would be even better.

I recieved them today and WOW do they stick out

That isnt near flush like hoebag said those giant tires give the illusion of flushness(if thats a word) plus when you are riding that high its easy for a wheel to look more aggressive than it actually is.

giant tires? 275/30...

to me, they aren't wide enough... plan on running something wider before too long...

the tires are the right size for a 9.5" wheel...

They wont stick out at all and they will be prety close to flush. If your car is lowered you will need to roll fenders. You can run 235/35 and 265/30 or 225/35 and 245/35 depending on the look that you want.
