He may know what physicly fits, but based on his post in this thread he is clueless when it comes to what performs well.

Suspension Setup: Tein Basics, Supra TT brakes f/r

I really like the rear wheel fitment now. The fronts are more sunk that I would like but I am having issues with the front tires rubbing. I have 3mm or 15mm spacers that I hope to put on soon.

Do you guys think this will be ok? 19x8.5 +45 offset, 19x9.5 +45 offset with Eibach Pro kit TT supra springs.

Why not go 19x8.5 +22 offset, 19x9.5 +22 offset ?? You will need to roll the fenders but it will be much more clean looking and flush...

Roo how would that look like on an SC? +22mm offsets? The closest I've seen (in pics) is Mongol's SC with the Advans. +22mm is a little extreme isn't it?

AME_VIP 10-03-05 11:22 AM

thanks. I should have mentioned the fenders are rolled all around.

Comment On Ride: Stiff ride, more like the car should be. Good adjustability for street and track driving. Rims are super light and actually made the steering alot more responsive than my previous setup, Supra TT wheels.

Fender Modifications: Rolled fenders all round. Hand pulled front fenders and professionally pulled rear fenders.

Any other comments: Look is absolutly aggressive as it gets. Clears supra brakes by a mile. The lip is just enough. Fronts will bottom out if diving into a corner, can be fixed by adjusting the height at expense of a dropped look. I feel they are perfect looking on the car. Did require alot of work to make them fit, but well worth it.

It's true that Mongol is running +22 all around but what you need to remember is that he is also running 18x10 all around too.

Offset by itself will tell you nothing, and width by itself won't help much either in terms of fitment, you need to take both offset and width into condideration when determining wheel fitment.
