Thanks Blizzy - love your project btw.

Any thoughts on the colour combo?

hello in store for new wheels.
i am currently running volk le37t in 350z fitment 19*9.5/10.5 +22 all around
the fenders are rolled and flared.
this might sound kind of crazy but i want to fit 18*10/12 with pretty aggressive offsets. +7 and +12
i know the rear will stick out 29 more mm than what it is now. my question is how much camber can i run before tire wear becomes an issue?

Just got an update from my wheel supplier that the Work XD9's are available in a 18x9 with a 30 or 38 offset for the front.

I was looking at the +30 originally with rears being 18x10 with a 38 offset.

Anyone have any thoughts on the front, is a +30 going to be okay?

Cheers

Get the 18x10 +30 all around.

just curious,
what's the lowest offset /widest rims anyone has ever gotten with a SC (with fender pulling; but not aftermarket widebody)
I noticed most people stay within the +30 to +38 range.

But on nissan 240's which have a stock offset of +40
people buy rims that go all the way down to like -5 offset.. :uh:

Send a PM to "Hoebag". I believe he is running something in the vicinity of 19x12 +0 on his stock pulled fenders. It definitely is going to look sick...especially once he gets his air set up complete.

Most of the guys pushing the envelope are around +10 to +20. Although, even in this thread, there are a handful of cars running negative offsets with super stretched tires.

Perhaps the 240's stock tires are biased toward the strut unlike the SC's stock tires that are centered in the wheel well. Nissans, in general, seem to be capable of 10-15mm of more negative offset wheel fitment than the average Toyota.

Hi, about to pick up an SC400 which is dark green, factory colour code 6M2.

I am looking at the Work XD9 lightweight monoblock wheel. They are an 18x9 +30 and an 18x10 +38.

Tires will be 235x40 front and 265x35 rear.

Hey Matt. Im ordering a set in a week or so, I gotta see who has them so I dont need to order from Japan. Im getting the Silver colored in 18x9 +20 and 18x10 +18. I plan on 235/40 and 270/35 for tires. Im shaving the fenders and doing slight camber in the rear for it to fit. Ill post pics as soon as I get them on.

Lovely, look forward to seeing some pics of your car!

Cheers
Matt.

wondering if 19x9.5 275/30/19 and 19x10.5 285/30/19 will fit on my sc300 with a vertex or origin fenders in the front and rolled rear fenders?

The rear will need a lot of camber to work, but it should be doable on a nicely rolled fender. You would need a small pull (<5mm) if you wanted to minimize camber. The fronts will work so long as you acquire the Vertex/Origin fenders and roll them.

i have 19x10s with 275/35 and its pretty close...

but i agree with blizzy, you'd need a lot of camber.

Toshima 12-14-07 09:11 PM

You should do 245/35 in the front instead of the 275/30. And use the 275/30 for the rear.

Anyone out there done a 20x10 with a +25mm offset in the rear? Looking to use some Sevas wheels but the 20x10 only comes in a +25mm offset. BTW I also want to lower it .9 inthe rear and 1.2 in the front. front wheel size will be 20x8.5 +25mm offset. Im buying a fender roller but I want to know how much rolling or cutting will need to be done.I really don't want to cut the car.
