I totally agree with that statement. My dash is flickering also after the money i spent on the repair.
Ive seen a couple posts about flickering clusters after lextech upgrade. Why dont you guys just contact OLT? Im pretty sure he would be more than happy to fix that problem.
These indiglo guages remind me of those Altezza style taillights that are also selling on eBay. I'd rather just get a spare cluster (5speed if possible) and send it out to OLT.
Sorry bub, I can't help. They gotta contact brandon. Haven't been in that office in a long time. Both guy's have first gen clusters and neither have the updated one's that LLS sent a recall email about so that's up to them, but I'm going to make sure this stays on topic so just answering your question.
EDIT: for clarification there was a voltage change that required a complete rebuild under wty = all new stuff, new design stopped voltage spikes in the turn signals.

I'm not complaining. OLT (Brian) was very cool and he offered to fix it free of charge when I first brought it up to him. I think the flickering is something that can't be fixed. It could be something else beyond the dash repair
EDIT: didn't see above post. anyways.... back on topic.

You were right either way, it was an issue with the voltage spikes of the car, but a workaround was designed after some R&D.
Anywho.... These overlays are just EL lit with a single bulb I'd be surprised to know they are bright enough to really see past the tint of the cluster face plate. They were originally for honda's (I'm not joking, see the sellers other auctions) that have clear face covers. They weren't designed to put out that big juice like the custom units that light through the smoked lexus covers. I might pick one up to hack the heck out of
If I were to buy one, I'd definitely choose the black one on top. I still want to stay as close to stock as possible, but adding a bit of aggressiveness is acceptable. Especially when your lex has a body kit on it, exhaust, and a **** load of power, the stock gauge seems a little too luxurious for it. Imagine putting a stock sc300/400 gauge cluster onto a supra tt. Kind a funny wouldn't it be?
Forgot to mention that partly the reason why I'm going against the reverse glow gauge is because it only comes in blue/green. Now that's riced out a bit. It'll look just like the civic/integra glow gauges. Super white, orange, or even red is acceptable. I wonder if you can change it so that it produces a different color?

o reallie? i guess i didn't get the email. my whole left side of the cluster is out, and as of right now, i need the car everyday (don't wanna drive without the cluster in, i know i can but i don't wanna hassle with the airbag).
