I talked to my guy at the dealership, and he said that inspecting the cap an rotor are a good idea... look for scoring and evidence of shorts and poor contact. He said they replace the plugs at the 60k service which I had about 14k ago, so I won't worry about them. However the plug wires never get replaced, and those do wear out. Mine are 9 years old
