Which stock block record were you going for? GE or GTE(sorry if i missed it) and was it stock short or long block? Very nice ride Josh and I hear nothing but good things about First State. Keep up the good work. Im sure I'll eventually run into you at meet. Come to NE2K7 in May in Jersey.

You sir, are correct. That is luke's rig shot alright! Hah, ask Luke about that shoot, he told me he rarely gets to work with a crew like us

can't wait to get the next issues of Modified in the mail
congrats on the shoot

btw: just curious, is the thrust washer the same as the throwout bearing or the pilot bearing?

any sign of crank walk in the motor?
Thanks! The thrust is what keeps endplay out of the crank and they ride on the #3 main. When you push that clutch in, it is actually pulling the crank and shearing the oil off the washer, causing hot spots This is a very agressive clutch, and should be used as little as possible. We are modifying a set of thrusts for more oil flow and gonna disconnect the clutch switch

Thanks guys,
Josh@FSM

I loved the article. I loved that I was so aware of all of the modifications that went into the car as a direct result of this forum.

We can't say it enough: Congrats!
