I'll see what I can do. The car's at my friend's house, he's been letting me keep it and work on it there. I'll either have to ask him to take a picture of it or I'll go over sometime after work before it gets dark out.

 

Am I crazy when I say i think the '92 tails are the best looking of all SC's?

I dislike the 95's the most, and the 97's a close second. 92 looks the most minimalist, and just look the best to me.

 

Yeah I think the 92 stock looks better than smoked. I never liked smoked taillights, but maybe that's just me. Too ricey IMO.

i feel your pain man my car is at my friend who lives 20 miles away .the good thing is today is friday and i have my tools and work clothes ready for a weekend of fun.btw i have a set of smoked lights i was messing around with and with the diffusers they look way better . i say if you red out your lights they will go better with your black car

 

I think the best thing you can do to 92 tails is red out the amber.

 

I think it looks better. Can we get a better daytime shot? I hate my 92 tails and may do this to mine till I can pick up some 97+s.

There's a few on here that have done the all red 92~94 tails... search it up, looks nice.

unsmoked with the diffs out make the 92s look real nice IMHO(Although the brake lights shine all over the place)....but im a still a 97+ man

 

My stock tail was busted up bad, here's a crappy pic of the car when I first picked it up:



I picked up these tails for $50, if I had the money to blow on '97+ tails I'd love to have them.

If you look at the driver's side, there was a metal strip screwed into it to keep the pieces of the light together. I was looking for a stock replacement tail when I came across the smoked ones for the same price as one stocker usually goes for.

So if anybody wants a good shape passenger side stock tail let me know.

 

Can someone post a DIY on how you clear out the lights like that?

 

I dig 'em. I really like the dark red of the brake light. if anything I like the smoked lights on a dark car (less contrast and less ricey).

97+ are still the best looking but these (and 92-94 in general) are better than 95-96.
