i get the idea that he chipped the paint on both fenders he did. lol. i still say take an angle grinder to that lip instead of bending/hammering it up. THEN roll the fender out to avoid small dents where the fender liner holes are.

They're actually abs headlight protectors/covers. One wasnt put on correctly and fell off during a magazine (Modified Mag.) shoot...we jus kept slidin'

Its the picture that I use in my siggie

Glad you cleared that up, I was wondering the same thing.

Your car is choice!

If you think you wont clear after you roll them then I suggest you roll and pull. What kind of wheels do you have?? I wish I had wheels that would make me want to roll and pull my fenders.

Im glad this thread is here. I have to do something with my fenders. On Supraforums, in a similiar thread, everyone says "cut". Maybe thats just with supras, I dont know.

Im trying to get the top of the rim as close to the fender as possible, by using wheels spacers and stretched rubber. So, now I have the decision "cut or roll". Ive done both, but on different cars.

Has anyone here cut their fenders, on a SC?

i did what aliga suggested. I cut, left a good amount tho, maybe 1/4" left from the actual edge. Then i rolled that up and pulled. Came out good, and I'm not so sure about the quarter panel being too fragile as the line that runs along our car is there for support as well.

So theres one, super ghetto vid on youtube, of rolling with a bat.

Anyone knows where there is another? Id love to see a "pull" so I can understand how theyre doing it.

Also, Who has cut fenders?

I have cut fenders. No good pics of the fenders yet, but they are perfect. ZERO rubbing whatsoever on Espilers and 20" wheels. They were cut, then slightly rolled on what was left inside after the cut. They cut around the tabs that hold the splash gaurds in and rolled the tabs up inside so I still have all the splash gaurds as well, then they galvanized where they cut and then used a "Rhino liner" like material and coated all the inside and bottom of the area. The liner is not visible unless you duck down and try to look under the fender. It looks very clean and the statement about fenders wobbling in the wind after a cut is BS. Price was $40 per fender at a custom body shop.

Excuse the dirty car. I'll post up some better pics in the next few days.
