.81 A/r Definite Lag. What saves me is that it starts to spool early around 3500, I feel a pull get stronger as rpm rise. It's not the slingshot affect of some turbos where you get crazy lag and it almost feels like you sprayed a 250 shot and your off.

Is that rpm scaling right? Are you making peak torque near 6000rpms? If so... WOW, you are definitely more tolerable to turbo lag than I would be.

Yep, one of my upgrades would be a emanage where I can raise the revs.
That's where the .81 back housing comes into play. for the time being, I have no choice but to be tolerable Unless I change the turbo. It still runs nice.

I love how that color of the turbo came out with the ceramic coating. One of the only turbos I have seen that look like that.

Sup Dre! I want to see what numbers you get with bigger injectors, both on the Dyno and at the track.

I'm really interested in all this -- I'd like to know how you personally like this setup--

There's a lot of peak power there, but I'm really wondering about the midrange response--- The reason I ask is that I made the mistake(??) of getting an SC4 so NA-T isn't near as easy--

I either have to swap from a clip or just work the v8 NA style with some pretty cool mods to get some nice response--

So my question is this;

At 2k rpms, the rwhp on your graph shows around 50 hp -- Is this car like driving mom's subaru in town-- I mean unless you get on it and hold it for a minute-- Do you have to launch at 3500 to really get movin quick in other words??

I like the 1UZ in the fact that it makes 200tq at 1500 rpms-- With cams and other stuff it should still respond well even at 2.5k which makes me think it would be more fun on a track etc..

So I guess I'm wondering if this is like driving a 450hp on/off switch--

Check my other thread. I have since changed my setup.
It was sort of an on/off switch. But not anymore.
