Default S-AFC questions?

hey guys, im gonna buy a Apex S-AFC tomarrow (today) and i was wondering if anyone can tell me their settings so i can get it tuned right, without having to throw the sc on the dyno. (eventhough i wanna see the hp gain..)

And do you guys think that 100 is too steep for install? cause im gonna buy the unit for 320.

Thanks in advance for the info.

$320 is a good price. $100 seems maybe a little steep for *just* the install, no tuning. I'll do it for $50 if you're near where I'm at right now. (greensboro, nc) lol

The install really isn't that hard, just download the instructions from their website...don't use the ones that come with it bcuz the diagram is wrong.

As for tuning...even two SC300's with the same mods won't use the "same" settings...it would really be best to put it on a dyno...

Dyno is a great idea. Tuning it without it may cause demage to the engine. Nuff said.

Last dyno I used was $60/hr, unlimited runs.

Don't know when I'll be cruising thru the Alabama area...I just got a short term HIGH paying contract in Pennsylvania. Deciding if I want to take it...5 or 6 weeks in the frigging freezing snow and stuff...ugh I'm talking to them Tuesday, we'll see after that. It's a gov't thing, and my to psecret clearance expired when I left IBM...and they're saying they'll have to renew it. What a pain in the *** that is...to have the fbi going to your friends houses and asking them questions about you...LOL
