Trunk water leak
I was recently in my trunk and under the floor mat getting at the spare tire. While there I looked over the cd changer and stereo power amp to see how hard it would be to get out. AND WHAT HO? The amp is in water and sloshing around. Cold solder joints be dxmed, first get dry. This was yesterday and I haven't been able to remove the paneling to get at it so I don't know where the water is coming from. My trunk is emaculate so I don't think it is a pluged drain. There is a hose that drains the fuel filler cavity and I think this is involved. I'll let you know what I find.
Meanwhile, does anyone have any experience or advice on this?
Thanks
John

Search...."Water Leaking into Trunk" or any combo of word related.
I know there is a drain hole for the antenna (clear on the other side) but I'm sure there's something for the fuel door. I would pull everything
Carpet, Changer, Amp, Taillight's...Then check every seal. Rear window...fuel filler/door...tail light area. Look at the wing (if apps)...hell take it off if you have to
