Cd stuck in changer please help!!!!
Hi,
My cd is stuck in my 12 disc changer and I can't get it out. The whole magazine now won't lift up,Can someone help me on this. It's frustrating me. thanx guys.

It happen to me when I just bought my SC400. I took those screws out and the magazine was able to push itself out. The system work for 8 months. Now my radio and the control buttons don't work

Mine used to do that frequently. Problem is the CD changer assembly gets out of alignment with the playback mechanism, so the CD doesn't retract fully back into the case when playing. Just open the slide cover, and take a thin knife (I kept a dinner knife in my trunk until permanently solving the problem!).. start at the front edge of the CD cartridge, and just move the knife along the small slot between cartridge and body. This will force the CD back into it's cartridge position, and allow removal.
When you have time, take the unit out, open it up, and you will see adjustment screws to align the cartridge's up and down movement. It make take a few trial runs, but eventually you'll get it adjusted to line up again!
