SC or Soarer w/o moonroof?
Does anyone know if the soarer or the SC ever was available w/o moonroof?
I think I'd like to "delete" mine, and would like factory interior parts to put back...

yes, there is, prob about 3 days ago someone made a thread about their soarer they just bought from japan w/o one
search a page or two back, it should still be pretty fresh for ya, maybe the guy who bought it can give you some details on how to do it yourself

There are SC/Soarer's out there without the moonroof. They are very rare though. I see them on the web for sale once in a great while.
I have a 93 SC3 5 speed without the moonroof and cloth interior instead of leather
I know a dude locally that has a 5 speed Midnight Indigo with no moonroof as well, though he has tan leather.

my homeboy has a sc300 without a sunroof .its rare here but in japan i doubt it is there is a new guy here with one

yes they do make it without the sunroof. but think about it if its hard to find a 5 speed its harder to find that 1 of a kind of a car. no sunroof because he wants a unibody and stiffer car? thats what im thinking.

Having no moonroof makes the car stiffer and for you taller folks, there's more headroom(just slightly though...makes a difference for a buddy of mine who owns an SC with the Moonroof)...
