Black & Tan interior combo???
Im also in the process of doing a black/tan combo similar to detuned's. but without black seats and carpet. Its by far one of my favorite color combos, reminds me of the new Range Rovers interior.
hahah half guiness half bass haha i like that.. sounds interesting i think i shall try that one day.
a question to anyone whos dyed their seats or steering wheel.. how does it hold up? any fading or rubbing off? I have extra dye and im thinkin of doing my seat inserts and steering wheel for the hell of it also.

There is a picture floating around the SC archives which hosts the clean(est) black/beige interior combination (from Japan/RHD), I've tried looking for the picture but the forum is just backed up with so many similar threads I couldn't find it.
But if anybody managed to save that picture, post it up...maybe this is what supradr is looking for.

I used RIT dye found in grocery stores thats used for clothing. The first time I did it, It came out purple, so I did it twice. Keep in mind that it's VERY messy and please please remove the carpet when you do it, I've seen people try it when it was inside the car and it messed everything else up. I also purchased new floormats to go with it.
I also pressure washed it to get all the grim out before it was dyed.
Another thing-I used a carpet cleaning brush to get deep down to the root or the carpet.
