new paint
well the time has finally came to place my SC in the paint and body shop. when i first purchased my car from the insurance agency, it came at a very cheap price. the downfall was a wrecked rear quater panel, and poorly executed past touch ups. but im stuck inbetween 2 colors right now. its currently moss green but i love flamenco black (honda type r). now ofcourse my car will be VIP influenced so flashy vibrant colors do not apply.
if i stick with the green, im going to refresh it and mix in a green pearl to give that really deep glossy finish. and black; well you know how it looks when its done right!
so any type of feedback will be considered

let's see some of that green pearl.
What are your plans for this "vip influenced" SC
by the way, if you want a true "vip fitment" I think you're going to need rims first and pull your fenders accordingly...you don't want to paint it for nothing now..do you?

well ive been researching the trend before it came stateside. i really like the vertex lip kit because its really low key. it flows with the bottom portion of the car very well. im running Volk Lexion 203's 19x8.5 +24 in the front and 19x10 +35 in the rear which are staggered fitments. a nice stretch on those will really compliment the drop. i want to work the suspension some because it has to handle as good as it looks. the interior will be refreshed with new wood accents, and re-upholstered leather seats. and we cant leave out the 1jz! so in all i want a powerful vip coupe that we didnt get here in the states
dont wan't to rain on your parade but looks like you're going to need to research a little more and go with a way more aggressive fitment than +35 in the rear...just trying to be helpful and help a fellow member reach his goals of a "vip style fitment"
try searching for TurboTeg's pictures, He's got one of the best vip style fitments I've seen on the SC...he's on 19x9.5 +11? and spacers? 19x11.5 +0? Ian, come clarify
I myself am going with 19x10 -3 hi disk 19x10.5 +2 super lo disk

well basically i dont want a "too agressive" offset. these are actually fitted for a Gs300. they are designed to go on the car with minor if any modifications. by adding aftermarket rear suspension pieces such as the adjustable toe rods and end links along with the coilover setup, ill be able to get the stance that i want to and the added performance. the car will only be at its max lowering during car shows, so ill tune the suspension for driving purposes. in all i just dont want to do a air strut setup.
