Default Acceleration?

noob question. i have a 92 sc300. when i step on the gas real hard my car does not "jump". is this normal? it usually speeds up after 2 or 3 secs but never jumps.

you mean like there's a pause? if so yeah it's kinda normal

If you weighed 3700 LBS you wouldn't jump either.

yeah, our cars don't have the most responsive transmissions either.

my sc was acting the same way, but if you let the car warm up about 7-9 minutes, the throttle response is much quicker and your tranny should shift like butter.
