i did a few research but wasnt able to find anything, the main concern is the driveshaft bushing, its made out of rubber, anybody with some power or a diff can possibly brake it by kickin the clutch to go sideways, anybody know any company that make a better bushing or metal/urethane bushing for the drive shaft? like this for the S/C previa? please help thanks
I haven't heard of any issues relating to drive shaft bushings. Typically it's engine & tranny bushings that get replaced with TRD variants from the MKIV Supra at higher HP levels.
There have been a few of us who have shredded those rubber couplers. I went through a few after installing a TRD LSD and wider tires. I was using the SC400 drive shaft and couplers. I ended up swapping in a 1 piece drive shaft that had steel couplers on each end. If I remember right, member AWJ also had a problem like this.
Anyway, those couplers in the pic look like a better replacment for the stockers under higher hp use.
Use a true 100-150hp Nos system for two years and you will see damage..I had to rebuild my driveshaft from the pounding of nos in combination with the Dragon Torque Converter...

is that the custom driveshaft with the metal couplers? or ... cuz my fren has a welded diff too, and he broke the rubber piece and it seems pretty weak.. i guess its for comfort since alot of other cars does not have bushing between shaft and diff?
so any other options besides the weak stock bushing?
