Default Wood Interior?

I have a question about the interior on the sc's. All of the wood in my interior has almost a glaze over it, like a flaking clear coat or something. Is the wood a synthetic wood with a clear coat over it, or is it REAL wood and has a finish on it, I can't really tell.

What should I use to get the glaze off. If it is fake wood, with a clear over it, I would think I could use just plain wax and buff it out. But if it is real wood I would prolly want to use a wood polish on it.

What is everyone else using to clean up their interiors?

Thanks for the help>I am a complete noob learning this car coming from a b16b powered civic! lol
