Good comparison. Compare a N/A motor to a TT motor.

A 1JZ N/A or 2JZ N/A will never outperform a 1UZFEtt either , but................. check the Supra Fourm seems the 1UZFE's Turbo's that they are dropping in the Supra's are now out performing the 2JZ Turbo's at less than half the cost.
Put upwards of $ 20,000 + into a age old V8 motor design and "there is no replacement for displacement"

What does it cost to build a 9, 10, to 11 sec 2JZ motor on a SC300 ? $$$$$$$

So you're saying that there is a 1UZFEtt that will beat the fastest turboed 2JZ ????? SC, Soarer or Supra??? this I gotta see, do you have a true link to this car?

Good post man...The 1UZ is always getting dogged out by the blown Inline 6 guys...That is hardly a fair comparison...A properly blown motor is a powerful machine, be it a 6 or an 8. I will get you guys dynos during the next few months during 1UZFE TTV8 completion...On the Stock motor and compression, and the built and decompressed V8 motor.

I love how this all started with the idea of someone sticking a leaf blower-like item on their engine.

Blown V8's though....frickin evil!!

I couldn't imagine the power of a LPE TT vette, or that crazy-*** TT SC430.

I got nothing against the 1UZ I just saw a 1UZ swap in a AE86 and he's going with twins soon. I've seen and ridden in a TT GS that SRT built here in MD. I set up my car as a all around package show with a little go if I wanted to go all out power why would I do 19's body kit etc...I would have just dumped all that into a motor. Go ahead and build your 1UZ the cheap way with NOS and hair dryers Jibbby........or be a man and do a TT 1UZ

jgscott I live on SF more than CL only TT or SC 1UZ's get my respect.

Hard to believe all this discussion came from a proposition to put a leaf blower on a SC! It’s really kind of funny when you think about it.

“Why cant we all just get along?” LOL

Just out of curiousity why would you lower the rear 2 inches to help your 0 to 60 times? You want "squat" on your launches to help with the initial torque being introduced to the ground.

The electric things using a constant DC motor, no good . Honestly if you want more power just jet for more nitrous. Nitrous is a very good way to bring power into your car exactly when you want/need it. You dont have to set up as much as you do with a turbo. 100 shot is still pretty tame for a 4 liter V8 in my opinoin I would say throw on a direct port and see if you can up it to 200 or so. Outside of that start setting up the car to grip better and I am sure you can put down some very impressive times.

And you guys mentioned the Supra guys doing turbo V8s, any examples you can link? I know some of the guys have been talking about it for a while but I didnt actually see any of them get it done yet.

This thread is done.

=======================
Cherplex,

I very much expect something more mature from you than I read in this thread. I've publicly warned you in the past about this exact same thing.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...&postcount=110

I'm asking you now to please put Jibby on your ignore list and never respond to another post of his again. Its apparent you can't interact with him without the immature call outs and bringing down our sense of community.
