Problem with ImportToys.com SUGGESTIONS?
I ordered a cosmetic trim insert with the smooth factory finish for my SC400 for my new Alpine IVA-W200 on June 29, 2006 from http://importtoys.com/ I still haven't recieved it. I sent a message to the address that my PayPal payment went to (JDMGarage@hotmail.com) on September 9, 2006 saying,
"Hi. I placed an order with you on June 29, 2006 for a Lexus-SC-radio-Insert-SMOOTH that I have still not received. My PayPal ID # is *****************. I have sent you emails over the past few months inquiring about why I have not received my trim piece. Please let me know the status of this ASAP. Thanks."
I recieved an e-mail later that night with this,
"hello,
Please forward me your mailing address. I will check the files here.
I apologize for the delay.
- Jason"
I sent the requested information back that night and never heard anything back. So, seven days later I sent another e-mail asking about my order, the status, etc. No response. Ten days after that, I sent another e-mail explaining everything that was going on plus more. No response. Five days after that (09/25/06) I e-mailed the website Importtoys@yahoo.com explaining everyhting as detailed as I could. NO RESPONSE!!! WTF is going on with this company? Has anyone else had problems with them, or is it just me? Please give me some suggestions, horror stories, anything. Thanks.

If you search, this is becoming a common complaint, I'm not sure why and I have never ordered from them. The first thread on this exact subject surfaced two yrs ago, and there have been others over the last 2 yrs. They have a product that a lot of people seem to want (radio trim), but it seems they are very hard to reach, and some never got their orders at all, or so they claim.
Sounds just like the experience I had with TM Engineering when I ordered a set of Daizen swaybar bushings from them. Kept sending e-mails asking if they had shipped my order yet and got no response. Phoned them and asked the same thing. They said they'd check with shipping and e-mail me back later. Got no response. After a number of more e-mails and phone calls, I eventually found out that they didn't even stock the parts I ordered (although the parts were listed on their website) and they didn't know if or when they might have any to ship to me. Then they asked if I wanted to cancel the order......Duh!
