Default Tanabe STB SC300

Does anyone if this STB will fit on the SC300, or more importantly, has anybody purchased and used an STB for their SC3 manufactured by Tanabe? Also, will the Supra JZA80 STB by Tanabe fit on the SC3 and allow the hood to close fully?

JZA80 everything else works on the SC. TT springs/shocks are a definitie fit. I think I read somewhere that MKIV supra STB's will work with our cars, just need a few washers to help it clear the TB.

i ahve the carbing STB for my 98 sc400. It's deff my favorite STB. It's a solid piece, as tanabe's is a 3 piece. tanabe is good for the money. The supra STB should fit, but the only question is if it clears the engine on our cars.. on the 300's and 400's the intake manifold sometimes blocks it.

I cant afford the carbing

LOL. I would think an application labeled as SC300(JZZ30, 92-00) would be made to spec to fit the SC300, without any modification no?
