^ yeah I was walking by and just happen to look inside, the car was in great shape, no idea why it was there but the wheel is in 9/10 shape.

If anyone could help me get the airbag/ cruise control to work that would be awesome. I always thought the airbag and cruise control functionality were hand in hand, if the airbag didn't work neither would the cruise control. It's at least that way with Honda/Acura.

I already made this myself and it didn't work, it's literally 2 wires, a blue ground and a yellow signal wire. It's very simple, use the OEM clip from the clockspring of the Rav4 and the airbag side of a SC. I got both clips from wrecked cars at the salvage yard, I of course would not clip my perfectly good airbag from my car lol... VERY self explanatory, saved $28 dollars..

There's also this link but didn't know if this is the same as a Rav4 setup since it is only repairing the cruise control and not the airbag system itself.

Please help pick some brains, I obiovusly searched but couldnt find an answer.. Thanks

Can a 99 sc 300 airbag and clock spring assembly (with all associated wiring ) work with a 02 sc 430 steering wheel?

Anyone know if a 97 ES300 steering wheel will work? EDIT, went to local pullapart expecting to look at a 97 wheel but instead there was a 2001. Looked just like a 97, wood and gray, very good cond. but I need tan or tan and wood. Also had the turn signal stalk removed. Dont know if my 93 SC4 stalk would be direct bolt on but sure did like the wheel. $40.00 and comes with the airbag.

Bump..

I sold my 92 SC with the RAV4 steering wheel so now I'm OBD2 in the 97 SC400 and have a few options for GS and ES wood/tan. Any tips on what works or doesn't work?

Pretty sure you've got the exact same options as before. Isn't it only '98 or '99+ that went to the new style single-stage airbag connector? In other words, the '97 connector is no different from your old '92 one.

I had a three spoke redone and made thicker for my 97. I think it turned out great.

Sorry to bump but I been searching for awhile and im trying to figure out if a 2001 gs300 steering wheel with airbag will fit into my 95 sc300? I know there are dual stage airbags and singles but i probably wont connect the airbag. will the steering wheel bolt up? and will the airbags work if i cut/splice the 2 wires?

TIA

Thanks! I found someone local to me with a 01gs300 tan/wood grain with airbag for $150 feel like I cant pass it up, I think i'll be alright with no airbag connected, do you know if the cruise control buttons will work? I'm pretty sure from reading i'll have to splice those wires.
