I was thinking about putting a 5 or 6 point roll cage in my car, does anyone have a swing type of roll cage where the door swings open? I don't want to loose the luxury feeling with the roll cage. Is there a removable type where it can be removed when I'm not racing? I'm just looking for something that's regulation but also looks good. Anyone have pictures? links?

 

I hate to say this, but a roll cage would definently spoil the luxury feeling for me. Seriously though, check the rules where you plan to race at, each sactioning body is a little different. But some will not allow cages with the swing out bar. No such thing as a removable cage. They need to be welded in. Again some place might sell a bolt in cage, but again that will not pass tech with any sactioning body that I can think of. I don't know of any kits, so you will probably have to get a chassis shop to fab a cage up for you. How good it looks depends on the skill of the shop doing the work.
