i know this thread is ancient but id thought id comment. I was just wondering why is it that when people red out the tails they only do the top. after you get them close spray the whole tail light to get them matching each other and it will freshen up the bottom half better. complete look then.
im not talkin bout chanh because the thread is 4 years old but someone just posted here and ive seen it alot. just askin?

I always down with reading the old threads. They still find their way to the top from time to time. I wonder if it still looks orange with the blinker or brake on, should they consider tearing it apart and spraying the inside also? Just a thought. Overall, it looks like it holds up. I wonder how it looks today?
I tried this a few days ago but i used Testors 'candy red' spray paint that i got from a hobby store. I used 3 coats of the red then 2 coats of Testors clear coat after the red was all dry. This picture was taken 2 days after everything was put back on.

I'll try to take a video sometime soon. I used the Testors and they are red when blinking.Originally Posted by imDementeD

Has anyone done the whole tail ? If I did the whole bottom would I get ticketed for covering the reverse?
