lol i saw taht movie a bout two hrs ago and after that i had to go top my car out only got to 130 but eh oh well(stupid hills). my friends wanted me to drift..............but id rather not die lol

i agree it was much better than the first 2. It had to be better alot of the D1 and Formula D drivers had a lot to do with the making. Plus our own Miss Emerald was an insider so it had to be good.

....props to miss emerald and her sc.....tsuchiya keiichi's lines...i thought quite funny heh even tho he was a fisherman and i liked the music at the first drift race....

I went to see it last night at the last minute....missed at least the first 10 mins. Heh, I don't normally do things like this but they actually locked the entrance to the ticketbooth area so we ended up walking in the exit to get in.
Just my opinion...
The cars were either hate em or love em. There was alot of good cars but alot of really bad ones and too many obviously USDM ones in there. For a movie set in Japan and the research they did, they did a bad job portraying the Japanese...lol, good example: we all know it's hollywood but from the movie, it looks like all japanese clubs are full of is skanky import models. Would have been alot better if they did more filming in Japan. DK's Japanese was horrible. I'm sorry but when you have lines in a foreign language, you need to get someone who can pronounce them. The lead character's fake country accent wasn't good either. On the bright side, the action scenes were really good and for the most part, the tuning dialog wasn't too fake or over the top like the last two movies. Including Tsuchiya, Toshi, and other guys was actually pretty funny and well integrated....but it seemed like they cut alot of scenes. So many of the cars that were "used" for scenes, seemed to only get half a second of footage and it seemed like there was alot of footage cut from the movie as it was a little too fast paced. Overall, it was entertaining....but one of these days a different studio will get a clue and make something more realistic.
