Lfrers' Build Thread
Here is a few shots of an Alpine CDA9886 in a Metra Dash kit. An Alpine Mono Amplifier drives the Kicker Free Air sub and I replaced the stock speakers with Kicker 5.25" Mid & Tweeter component setup in the stock locations. Except the rear deck you'll see the added tweeters there. I added "Road kill to the rear deck and behind the rear seat to deaden the noise from the Walbro fuel pump and air pumps I got in the trunk. I tried to get suggestions on what kind of sound system to get and didn't get much response. im not much of an audiophile so I just went with all Alpine and Kicker Components. I can't believe how clean the system sounds. prolly the best system I've ever owned.

OK OK OK...... Now for real..... I'm finished.
Serious. What? You all don't believe me?
OK I don't blame you. I don't believe myself.
Ok well i kept thinking of all the $$$$$ I drop into this car and what a nightmare
it would be if someone decided they deserved it more than me. So I did a little mod to keep the amateur car thieves away.
Between this and parking the car with the bags dumped it should be tough to get.
BTW This mod makes the car sooo much nicer to drive. Unbelievable how
much of a difference a good steering wheel makes.
