Hello to all. My wife turned a harmless test drive into owning
a 1993 SC300, black with 120,000 miles.
The service records are spotty so I have determined from
readying your many comments that replacing the timing belt
and water pump would be a smart thing to do.
My question is this.. Do I need to spend $157.00 for a OEM Lexus
water pump from someplace like Irontoad.com or would a $100
water pump manufactured by ASC, and guaranteed for life, be
sufficient?
PS - Previous threads about "waterproofing" the headlight
was very helpful. If what we did proves successful, I will write
another thread to share our effort with others.
