need help obd2 to obd1 conversion
getting ready to do the swap between my soarer and my sc300 and of course i completely forgot that my sc is obd2 and the soarer is obd1 the motor and engine wiring harness is out of the sc now and i plan on swapping all of it into the soarer and i have ems for the engine what problems am i going to run into with the rest of the wiring. basically ive got an obd2 motor and wiring harness with ems but im putting it into an obd1 chassis any one have any clue as to what i will run into?
ok but with the engine harness there are 3 plugs into the ecu there are another 3 or 4 that plug into the car next to the ecu are these the same from obd2 to obd1??
if the ecu plugs are the same, i dont see why the body plugs should be different.
edit: before yanking the motor, compare the plugs. that will answer all questions about compatibility.

In my case, in order to do the 1J swap into a 97+ car, all I have to do is swap the ecu to obd-I?
