that there explains the problem w/ using a ge trans ecu w/ the 1jz's.. its just a brief putter whenever your at wot w/ the car. not that big of a deal. low/mid range rpm/throttle it shifts like any other auto..

Since i went to 3330 plugs, the sputter is BADDD

Who said the US? Theres plenty of junkyard with soarer parts in Austraulia. The exchange rate is in our favor and shipping air is about 4-5 days. Search the internet. The main ECU i got in my car i got for $50 shipped.. coil packs i can get for around $20 each pair shipped. No i wont tell u where either.

I don't this 80% of the information on this thread is correct. The Sputtering people were having is believed to have been from people extending the knock sensor wires incorrectly. From personal Experience once I re-ran new USB cable, the problem went away. The stock transmission ecu works fine with the 1jz swap.

The 1j transmission worked fine on my ge .Not too sure if the ge will work on the 1j because the 1j box had a extra sensor.

I want put an end to the FAULT information a couple of people on here are providing because they think they know it all.

The engine ECU from the automatic soarer 1jz controls the Transmission, there is no EXTRA box/ecu ECT period.
