For SC members !!! Hi everyone, I got a question...

I'm planning to buy an SC300 or 400, prefer to have 5 spd manual. Let's say I end up buying 400 SC !! Can I convert from auto to manual tranny ???? If yes, which tranny do I have to use ???

Now Jay, you've been here for a while!!! You know all about the search function!!!!

But to answer you anyway. With the 400 you're pretty much stuck with the manual. I believe there is 1 person here that did a manual swap, but the cash outlay makes it cost prohibitive for basically anyone short of Trump!
There is no "bolt right up" tranny for us, so we are forever stuck with the dildomatic!

I hear ya though!!!! I would LOVE a manual!!! We were discussing this at a BBQ at TLW's last month and from what I remember the cost was insane!!!!! Custom Bellhousing, custom driveshaft, Blah, Blah, Blah!!! Just crazy!!!
