I HAVE HID'S IN MY FOGS AND ITS BURNING THE LENS AND TURNING IT A YELLOW (SOON TO BE BROWN) COLOR. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE?
Well, of course it is going to burn the lens. Those fogs were not designed to retain such intense heat from a HID bulb. That is why they use 12v 55W H3 bulbs, assuming that your car is a 97+. You want to stop the melting/burning, start using OEM bulbs.
I DONT WANT TO USE OEM BULBS. IM ASKING IF ANYONE HERE HAS HID'S AND DON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
You'd have to do a complete retrofit. Some people do have HID's in their fogs, but only because they've retrofitted. Good thing you didn't try to use straight up HID bulbs in your headlights, those would melt the entire headlight housing. PLEASE DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS
