its nice but i prefer them on a black or dark car so it flows and doesnt look out of place..but if you car is fully modded with aero kit..agressive wheels and etc...its gonna be hot either way...

is it just me or is the finish wavy? I saw one of these in person and it looked like water with ripples and dimples all over the surface

Well I think it looks good. The fit, and finish look good.....from the pics, anyway.

It does stand out, quite a bit. But Im with whats his name, up there...."to each his own" or whatever.

Pretty car BTW.

I also am not feeling it. Maybe if you paint it red but leave a little cf showing so that people will know you have it. Just my opinion...you're the only one who really needs to like it.

i like it... looks like good fitment. just paint the sides like pat did on his old gold SC. then it would look even better. any plans for a kit?

as others have asked, which manufacturer made it?

Awesome hood, but it does need to be painted to match the car.

the hood is made from VIS
if you looks at my stock hood you can see that clear coat is peeling and the guy i bought the car from promise me a cf hood and when i got it decide to put it on cuz i didnt like the clearcoat peeling off the stock hood and save some weight.

maybe i should paint it? how much? and how will it look? stock? thanks for the comments

btw i dont plan on putting any kit on it, maybe 97 conversion

OK, so I'm not imagining it. The ones I saw were VIS also. It's hard to see in the pics but the finish is horrible. Like i said, it looks the surface of water with a bunch of ripples in it. If you paint it, the imperfections would show though.

If you plan to keep it, I would refinish it and paint it.
