Looks good. I would maybe even consider cutting out that horizontal piece also. Does that horizontal piece still feel rigid or does it feel flimsy? You wouldn't want that piece to start sagging.

i was going to add a metal bar under the horizontal peice for support, but since taking the pics, i cut that peice off.

Looking good Gazi, I think it looks alot better without those bars, the 97' bumper looked too busy. Now it looks more simple and subtle, I like it.

Wow, very nice, that OEM body kit looks like an aftermarket kit by simpling cutting out that grill

I've got a silver 97, and feel the same way. I hate those "teeth" looking support pieces. I'm going to paint mine black instead of cutting though because I think it needs the horizonal piece in the middle too look right imo. There are black pieces of plastic that are supposed to cover them. If anyone has those I'd buy them (if they were removing the grill and didn't need them). -=nathan

i have been waiting for someone to do that...finally...yup it looks soo much better...almost close to the autocourture front...for just cutting ...great job...i spy the fmic too and car is hot...keep it up and keep us posted.

looks real good!, i'd personally cut out the middle piece though.

anyone have any pics of pre 97 bumpers cut out in the middle?
