Unhappy Help

When I stop at any stop light, my car seems to be jilting and wanting to lurch forward. And sometimes past speeds of 70+ the car seems to be shaking a little. What is the problem and how much it would it be to fix? Thanx.

speeds over 70 would be a wheel balancing issue. not sure about the lunging at a stop.

Everything is fine, it just jolts a little bit. LIke when I just start driving it. Hours later, everything is still going fine. I know that the timing belt can cost up to 800-1200. How much is it to balance out the tires.....?

Tire Balancing doesnt cost very much, maybe $10 per tire. Get it done, it makes a huge difference in terms of vibrations at higher speed. It's one of those cost effective things. Usually balancing is done with every tire rotation.

Normally timing belts don't need adjustment and if you're handy with a wrench you can DIY. I did mine on my SC300, its not hard, just tedious.
